The ATH Sigma K5 automatic water softener is the ideal solution for eliminating water hardness throughout the home, enhancing comfort and efficiency. This model features a 25-litre capacity and a volumetric control system that optimises its operation, ensuring efficient water use with each regeneration. It is designed to be installed at the water entry point of the home and easily connects via a 1" connection with an integrated by-pass, facilitating both installation and maintenance.

Thanks to its ion exchange capacity, it removes the minerals responsible for water hardness, such as calcium and magnesium, resulting in softer skin, fluffier laundry, and greater protection for appliances and pipes. Additionally, it reduces limescale build-up, helping to extend the lifespan of equipment and minimising energy and cleaning product consumption.

This water softener boasts a robust and compact construction, with a cabinet made from blow-moulded polyethylene housing a fibreglass-reinforced bottle and a food-grade PE inner liner. These materials ensure durability and food safety, providing reliable long-term performance.

The microprocessed volumetric control of the Sigma K5 allows for precise adjustments based on water consumption, optimising each regeneration cycle. The device records historical operation values, facilitating performance monitoring and adjustment of operating parameters according to household needs. It is extremely easy to handle, with an intuitive design that allows for easy adjustment and maintenance. Additionally, it incorporates a fast-turn motor and non-volatile memory, ensuring settings are not lost in the event of a power cut.

The automatic valve, constructed from NORYL, is mounted on top of the softener body, and its design includes a mixer that allows the adjustment of residual water hardness according to user preferences. Furthermore, the by-pass is also made from NORYL, providing durability and strength to the unit.

The Sigma K5 comes equipped with a high-capacity, food-grade resin charge, optimised for long-lasting and effective performance. The brine tank is of the dry type, reducing the risk of malfunctions and simplifying maintenance operations. Additionally, it includes a safety valve to prevent potential accidental overflows.
