The DFR Tyxal+ provides remote fire risk prevention by sending alerts to occupants via an integrated siren. In the event of smoke detection, the device activates both an audible and visual signal and can send notifications to a smartphone when linked with the Tydom Home/Pro system, allowing you to react quickly even when you are not at home.

Additionally, the detector is designed to automatically control motorised shutters. In the event of a fire, the detector can trigger the shutters to open, facilitating a quick evacuation. This is possible through its association with a compatible receiver such as the Tyxia 5730 or a Tymoov radio motor, adding an extra level of safety in emergency situations.

Functionality and Control

The DFR Tyxal+ can operate autonomously or in combination with other security devices:

• In standalone mode, it emits audible and visual alerts for home occupants.
• It can also be linked with a preconfigured transmitter, alerting up to 16 detectors simultaneously.

This detector is ideal for installation on ceilings, preferably in the centre of the room or more than 20 cm away from any obstacles such as walls, partitions, or beams. Its design allows it to fit seamlessly into any room of the home.
