This PLA version of the Thalassa is a versatile floor-mounted enclosure suitable for various applications. It features a sealed top and bottom, assembled with side parts, and has nominal dimensions of 1500mm in height, 750mm in width, and 320mm in depth. The enclosure is made of fibreglass-reinforced polyester, providing strength and resistance to harsh environments, including industrial and outdoor settings. The enclosure comes in grey (RAL 7035) and consists of two side parts, a flat front door, and a rear panel. The front door can open up to 120° from either the right or left side and is secured with a four-point lock and a 5 mm double-bar insert. The rear panel and door can be removed for maintenance purposes. The enclosure is certified by DNV Marine, Veritas, and is UL/cUL listed, offering robust protection against various hazards, including fire, impact, dust, and water. It can withstand fires up to 960°C according to IEC 62208 and has an IK10 rating (IEC 62262), indicating high impact resistance. It has an IP65 rating (IEC 60529) and provides complete protection against dust and water. Additionally, the enclosure features Class II electrical insulation to prevent electric shocks and enable the construction of fully insulated solutions. It is UL certified and can be stored at ambient temperatures from -35°C to 90°C without affecting its performance.
