The CILLIT®- BONAQUA range of equipment is used for the separation of unwanted elements or compounds in drinking water, as well as for other specific applications.

In certain areas with significant salinisation of aquifers, the supplied water may have a bad taste. In rural areas, additional protection against organic fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides, etc. may be desired, and in areas of high industrial concentration, protection against heavy metals or other undesirable elements may be needed.

The use of CILLIT®- BONAQUA equipment allows for the removal of virtually all contaminating elements and substances in water, such as organic compounds (pesticides, herbicides, aromatic hydrocarbons), heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium), nitrates, as well as bacteria, viruses, and pyrogens. They are designed to produce a volume of pure water of approximately 1720 litres/day assuming a total dissolved solids (TDS) of 1000 mg/l, with a reduction of over 90% in the concentration of salts and other substances contained in the input water.

The water thus treated regains all its purity and natural taste, making it perfectly suitable for food use and consumption.

For the care of plants and flowers, aquariums, steam irons, coffee makers (preventing lime or saline deposits), for the production of clear ice cubes, photographic laboratories, and many other possible applications.
